Fery Roder Alternative Pain

Specializing in deep muscle therapy and acupressure for over 30 years. Deep muscle therapy and acupressure are forms of massage therapy that provide relief and long term maintenance of occasional to chronic debilitating pain and physical problems. Effective in the treatment of muscle pain and soreness, dislocated bones, sprained ankles, headaches, migraines, carpal tunnel, tennis elbow, sinus problems, joint problems, earaches. It is also effective in the treatment of high blood pressure, stress, anxiety, and insomnia (sleeplessness). This approach serves as a non-evasive alternative to surgical procedures as well as the more aggressive approach of chiropractors. The practice also provides homepathic (all natural) approaches/remedies that facilitate effective treatment.

Medical Technical Services The President of Fery Roder Alternative Pain is FERY RODER Business classifications
SIC (US 1987) : Fery Roder has been practicing Deep Muscle therapy for over 30 years. The technique is a form of massage therapy also known as deep tissue massage. Deep muscle therapy/deep tissue massage offers an alternative to common pain management treatments that may have undesirable results. For example, prescription medications can cause adverse side effects (and only mask the pain) and may cause addiction. Surgeries may ultimately prove ineffective and cause additional problems, let alone being invasive, expensive and usually requiring long recovery periods.
Fery often serves as a second opinion before patients turn to surgery. Fery feels surgery should always be the last resort. Recovery from injuries (e. g. whiplash, a fall, sports injury, concussion)

For example, Fery cannot treat inflammation due to gout which is a kidney related illness or bladder pain due to a urinary tract infection which can only be treated with anti-biotics. Please see a specialist such as a nephrologist or urologist for any such organ related pain.
Pain due to any life threatening illnesses such as cancer or tuberculosis. We urge you to immediately see a medical doctor if you have been diagnosed or fear you might have any such illnesses.
If bleeding is involved please see a medical doctor first.
Deep muscle therapy, or deep tissue massage is a type of massage therapy that focuses on manipulating and realigning deep layers of muscles and connective tissue, getting to the underlying cause of pain.
Deep muscle therapy is non-invasive (non-surgical) so does not require long recovery periods. It does not require any blood tests and complex equipment, just a massage table and Fery's talented, experienced hands.
Deep muscle therapy is a slow, intense form of massage that requires a lot of pressure at times. This may cause some discomfort and even pain. However, if pain does occur, Fery can always use a gentler approach.
Deep muscle therapy is intended only for the relief and management of specific pain. It is not intended for relaxation or pleasure.
Deep muscle therapy tends to be a progressive process that takes regular sessions over time to fully relieve and manage pain, depending on the condition. However if the pain is not chronic relief can occur quickly, perhaps in one session. Fery was trained in holistic healing and special education at Rudolph Steiner's premier school for Anthroposophy, The Goetheanum, in Dornach Switzerland. Fery focused her studies on deep muscle therapy, a form of massage therapy. The title of Heilpedagogue was awarded to her in 1975. Fery initially practiced deep muscle therapy primarily on individuals with mental and physical disabilities, in Switzerland and here in the States.
By the early 1980's Fery was treating an increasing number of patients, privately and at the practice of the late Dr. Henry N. Williams in Lancaster Pa. Dr. Williams was a practitioner of modern and homeopathic medicine.
In 1997 Fery joined a clinic of fellow practitioners at the Media Wellness Center in Media Pennsylvania.
In January of 2011, Fery realized her career-long dream and opened her own practice.
*Classes will be scheduled when there are enough participants. If you are interested in attending please call the office or send an email to sign up and we will let you know when classes are scheduled. Eurythmy is a kind of dance therapy that helps to ease and manage specific ailments and pain.
Eurythmy is made up of easy to perform steps or movements (you don't need to be a good dancer, athlete, or even flexible). The steps are also easy to remember because each corresponds with and resembles a letter of our alphabet.
Eurythmy is also practiced simply as an expressive art form, similar to ballet.
Eurythmy is an essential part of Anthroposophy and is taught at Waldorf schools. Fery's nutritional remedy class teaches how to prevent, treat and manage specific illnesses by eating, and not eating the right foods.
Fery's approach is based on the Anthroposophic and old world belief that food and illness can be categorized into warm and cold elements. Foods that are in the category of warm element are effective for treating illnesses that are in the category of cold element and vice versa.
For example, a sore throat is in the category of warm element, so eating cucumbers, which are in the category of cold element will help soothe the pain.
